Paul Rudd, also known as Paul Rudnitzky, is one of Hollywoods most popular Jewish actors. He is mostly known for his roles in Clueless, I Love You Man, This Is 40, just to name a few. He was born on April 6th, 1969, in Passaic New Jersey. His parents are both Jewish, descendants from Jewish immigrants who moved to Britain from Russia and Poland. At the age of 10, Rudd’s family moved to Lenexa, Kanas, where he later on majored in theatre at the University of Kanas. He then moved to Los Angeles to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. During acting school Paul worked as a Bar Mitzvah disc jockey.

In 1997, he acted in a play called “The Last night in Ballyhoo”, about the Eastern European Jews, and the Anti-Semitism they dealt with by the German Jews in the south.

In 2003, Paul married his wife Julie Yaeger, who is also Jewish, and together they have two children. Until today, Paul is very connected to his Jewish roots and has had a very successful career.
